Sports racing network MAV TV has unveiled a new subscription streaming platform that allows motorsports fans in the United States and Canada to watch every race offered by the brand.

The platform, called MAV TV Go, costs $8 per month or $80 per year and unlocks access to MAV TV and its races without a traditional cable or satellite TV subscription. A premium plan costs $20 per month or $200 per year, and also offers video on-demand access and excluive live access to premier racing events, including Bathurst 12 Hour, Nürburgring 24H, and the 24 Hours of Spa, along with Australian Supercars, DTM and Toyota GR Cup, among others.

Both plans — MAV TV Go Standard and MAV TV Go Premium — are offered with a seven-day free trial.

“Today marks a major milestone for MAV TV and our fans,” C.J. Olivares, the President of MAV TV, said in a statement. “By subscribing to a MAVTV GO Standard or Premium plan, viewers gain unprecedented access to the MAVTV cable experience — without the need for cable — and exclusive live racing they can’t find anywhere else. We’re bringing the excitement of motorsports directly to race fans, wherever they are.”

At launch, MAV TV Go can be downloaded to Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, with support for more smart TVs and streaming devices planned in the near future. Apple TV users can download the MAV TV Go app on their Apple iPhones or iPads, then stream content to Apple TV using Airplay. Android TV users can download the app on Apple and Android-powered phones and tablets, then use Google Cast to stream content to their TVs.

MAV TV Go is limited to one stream and one device at a time, regardless of whether a subscriber chooses the Standard or Premium plan of the service.

“With our Premium plan, fans can enjoy some of the most anticipated and prestigious racing events in the world,” Olivares continued. “Additionally, our premium next-day replay and VOD features provide the best viewing experience in the industry. MAV TV Go is now officially your all-access pass to the ultimate in motorsports entertainment.”

In addition to MAV TV Go, the company offers a free, ad-supported streaming TV channel, called MAV TV Select, that offers race replays on platforms like Amazon’s Prime Video and Freevee, Pluto TV, Xumo Play, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, Vizio WatchFree Plus, LG Channels and others.

The Streaming Wars is intentionally ad-free

We don’t run display ads. Not because we can’t, but because we don’t believe in them.

They interrupt the reading experience. They cheapen the work. And they burn advertisers’ money on impressions nobody actually wants.

So we chose a different model.

We say the things people in this industry are already thinking but don’t say out loud. We connect the dots beyond the headline and focus on explaining why things matter to the people working in this business.

If you believe industry coverage can exist without clutter and interruption, you can support it here → SUPPORT TSW.

Support is optional. But it directly funds research and continued coverage — and helps prove this model can work.
