The second season of Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King has reportedly garnered 13.6 million global viewers on Paramount+, according to data released by Paramount Global. The Taylor Sheridan-created series concluded its 10-episode run on November 17.
Season 2’s premiere on September 15 drew 5.4 million “active subscriber households” within its first seven days, with 2 million viewers tuning in on the day of release. The numbers place Tulsa King among Paramount+’s top-performing domestic originals, alongside Sheridan’s 1923 and the first season of Tulsa King.
Continued Momentum for Tulsa King
The series follows Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a mafia capo rebuilding a criminal operation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after being released from prison. The second season reportedly saw a significant increase in online engagement, with Paramount stating that the show generated 159 million social media views, an 894% rise from the first season.
Tulsa King is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, the team also behind 1923 and Landman. The latter recently set a record for Paramount+’s biggest global series premiere in two years.
Paramount+ Subscriber Growth
Paramount+ continues to show subscriber growth, adding 3.5 million globally in the most recent fiscal quarter, bringing the streaming service’s total to 72 million. Shows like Tulsa King play a key role in attracting and retaining viewers, contributing to the platform’s growth in an increasingly competitive streaming market.
As Tulsa King builds on its momentum, its performance underscores Paramount+’s reliance on original content and the continued popularity of Taylor Sheridan’s productions.
The Streaming Wars is intentionally ad-free
We don’t run display ads. Not because we can’t, but because we don’t believe in them.
They interrupt the reading experience. They cheapen the work. And they burn advertisers’ money on impressions nobody actually wants.
So we chose a different model.
We say the things people in this industry are already thinking but don’t say out loud. We connect the dots beyond the headline and focus on explaining why things matter to the people working in this business.
