UFC 324 Delivers Paramount+ Its Biggest Exclusive Live Event Ever

Paramount+ just landed a knockout. UFC 324, the streamer’s debut exclusive event under its new deal with the UFC, pulled in a live average minute audience of 4.96 million streaming viewers, making it the most-watched exclusive live event in Paramount+ history.

The January 24 event streamed live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and was the first of 13 numbered UFC events set to hit the platform in 2026. According to data from Adobe Analytics and channel partners, UFC 324 reached 7.18 million households globally and peaked at 5.93 million concurrent streams. These figures do not include co-viewing, which is common for UFC, or delayed viewership, which is still being tallied.

The strong turnout places the event among the most viewed UFC broadcasts across platforms in nearly a decade, including linear and broadcast, underscoring the shift in high-value sports audiences to streaming.

Paramount+ did not release signup numbers, but a source told TheWrap that subscriber growth exceeded expectations.

UFC 324 also performed strongly on social media. With 5.5 million interactions around the main event, it became the most social Paramount+ exclusive to date. It trended in the number one spot worldwide on X (formerly Twitter) for six straight hours and generated 186,000 mentions, up 127% from the previous UFC card.

Saturday’s card was headlined by veteran Justin Gaethje defeating rising star Paddy Pimblett via unanimous decision, earning Gaethje the interim lightweight title. The next exclusive Paramount+ UFC card, UFC 325, streams live January 31 from Sydney.

The Streaming Wars is intentionally ad-free

We don’t run display ads. Not because we can’t, but because we don’t believe in them.

They interrupt the reading experience. They cheapen the work. And they burn advertisers’ money on impressions nobody actually wants.

So we chose a different model.

We say the things people in this industry are already thinking but don’t say out loud. We connect the dots beyond the headline and focus on explaining why things matter to the people working in this business.

If you believe industry coverage can exist without clutter and interruption, you can support it here → SUPPORT TSW.

Support is optional. But it directly funds research and continued coverage — and helps prove this model can work.
