Samsung Expands Gaming Ambitions with EA SPORTS FC 25 via Xbox Cloud Partnership

Samsung’s bet on gaming just got a lot more aggressive and strategic. In a new three-way partnership with Electronic Arts and Xbox, Samsung is bringing EA SPORTS FC 25 to its Gaming Hub via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The move extends the reach of one of the biggest football franchises to Samsung’s 2025 TV and monitor lineup, with no console required.

This isn’t just about games. It’s about turning the Samsung Smart TV into a console replacement. With only a compatible controller and a Game Pass Ultimate subscription (which includes EA Play), users can stream FC 25 directly.

The real kicker is Samsung’s promotional push. New subscribers can get two months of Game Pass Ultimate for free, available to both new TV buyers and existing Samsung TV owners. Redemption is simple through the Samsung Promotions app or by scanning a QR code.

EA SPORTS FC 25 brings several notable updates including an expanded 5v5 Rush mode, new tactical control via FC IQ, and over 19,000 players across 700 teams and 30 leagues. This partnership ensures fans can jump into the action without needing additional hardware.

Since launching the Samsung Gaming Hub in 2022, the company has positioned itself as a key player in cloud gaming. It already supports services like GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna. Adding EA SPORTS FC 25 to the mix brings one of the most mainstream gaming titles into the fold and helps Samsung transform its screens into full-blown gaming platforms.

For Xbox, the deal extends Game Pass access. For EA, it means greater reach. For Samsung, it’s another move toward making TVs a destination for more than just watching content.
