Tubi is rapidly scaling its creator content strategy, expanding its digital-first collection to more than 5,000 episodes through new partnerships with top-tier creators including MrBeast, Alan’s Universe, Jomboy Media, CelinaSpookyBoo, and Steven He. The move reflects Fox Corporation’s growing investment in creator-led programming as a core component of its free ad-supported streaming platform.
To support this effort, Tubi has hired Kudzi Chikumbu, former Global Head of Creator Marketing at TikTok, as Vice President of Creator Partnerships. He joins Rich Bloom, who was appointed in April as General Manager of Creator Programs and Executive Vice President of Business Development. Chikumbu’s addition highlights Tubi’s intent to treat creator programming as a long-term strategy rather than a side initiative.
“We’re committed to building a bridge to Hollywood for creators to help them reach new audiences,” Bloom said. “Tubi is a platform for bold, breakthrough work, and these 5,000 episodes are just the beginning.”
New Creator Partnerships
- MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson): Seasons 6 through 8 of his flagship YouTube series will stream on Tubi. This adds to his existing live channel on the platform. Donaldson has more than 421 million YouTube subscribers and close to one billion followers across social media.
- Jomboy Media: Known for “Talkin’ Baseball” and “Talkin’ Yanks,” the group is bringing sports storytelling content to Tubi.
- Alan Chikin Chow: His series “Alan’s Universe,” a blend of action, comedy, and storytelling, will debut on the platform. Chow has over 90 million YouTube subscribers.
- CelinaSpookyBoo (Celina Myers): A new long-form spooky series is coming to the service.
- Steven He: The comedy series “Fish Bowl” will be available to Tubi viewers.
Strategy for Growth
The “Tubi for Creators” program launched in June and has quickly scaled from six creators and a few hundred videos to more than 5,000 episodes. The focus is on creators who already produce high-quality mid-form and long-form content with professional production values and strong storytelling.
Currently, the platform accepts non-exclusive licensed content, with plans to introduce exclusive productions backed by development funding in the future.
Tubi is also continuing to support its other creator and indie-focused initiatives, including Stubios, a partnership with Kickstarter for independent films, and collaborations with The Blacklist to surface emerging screenwriting talent.
With more than 100 million monthly active users and a content catalog approaching 300,000 titles, Tubi is positioning itself as a major outlet for creators seeking scale, reach, and visibility within a professionally run, ad-supported ecosystem.
